Debi & Bruce worked on my apartment for 6 weeks to take it from a disaster to a beautiful welcoming space. Debi is very knowledgeable about design, art, architecture, upholstery, antiques, renovations, any kind of repair needed for the home.
Her Interior designs are beautiful and practical. She listened to what I wanted and needed and put those things in the design. He designs are unique and one of a kind. Not like some magazine picture. It was perfect just for me and my life.
She knows how to use auctions and other sales and discounts to save money and will get her hands dirty by painting or plastering to help out.
Bruce works very hard beside Debi to make sure the designs she has created come out exactly as they looked on paper.
They are a perfect team together and I highly recommend their services.
My partner and I moved to a new (old) home in the country with a new baby. It was a fixer-upper and we were on an extreme budget. We really were starting from scratch. We did not even have plates, cups or pots!
Debi didn't even blink. She hit all the thrift stores for the basics, showed up with a pick-up full of goodies and we got to work. By the end of the May 24th long week-end our entire home was repaired, painted, set-up, and beautiful. The house which was not previously safe for the baby due to mold and I don't know what on the floors, and a wasp infestation in the closet was now sanitized, perfect and beautiful. Thank You Debi!

I worked with Debi on a Kitchen remodel that used many different elements. I wanted an authentic antique Dutch-Canadiana kitchen to match my 1890’s home and she delivered in every aspect. She ordered an antique oak backbar from Kentucky, round hammered copper sinks from Mexico, antique pine cupboards from a salvage store in St. Jacobs, reclaimed Dutch tiles from Europe, reclaimed pine plank flooring and barn beams from the Oshawa area, a reproduction tin ceiling, and updated gas lighting. Even my pot rack was made from an old wash stand rack. The imagination, creativity, vision, and understanding of the materials used, knowledge of wood, how it ages, how it behaves and works with other woods and grains, was incremental in the design. Debi’s research into my home included going to the historical society to ensure her design was true to the roots of my home, and matching my backsplash tiles to the actual region the original builder came from back in the 1890’s. WOW! I would recommend Debi to anyone who was doing any kind of interior design project. Her attention to detail and the little touches are what make her designs very special.
